Location: Central Coast, CA
Schedule: On-call, weekends required (May–November), ideal for those looking for part time, on call work
Pay: $20 per hour + possible gratuities & overtime

Field to Table Catering & Events is looking for enthusiastic, professional event servers to help create unforgettable dining experiences at weddings and special events. This role is fast-paced and physically active, taking place in a variety of venues and outdoor locations. Key Responsibilities:

Event Setup & Service

  • Set up and break down food service stations, guest tables, chairs, and place settings

  • Serve appetizers and execute buffet, plated, and family-style meal service

  • Monitor tables, bus dishes, and maintain cleanliness throughout the event

  • Organize dishes, flatware, and glassware post-service

Guest Experience & Teamwork

  • Provide exceptional service while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor

  • Work closely with the Event Manager & Lead Chef to ensure smooth execution

  • Adhere to Field to Table’s Service Etiquette Guidelines (provided upon hiring)

  • Follow venue rules and regulations to ensure a seamless experience

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for Hospitality – Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality service

  • Polished & Professional – Well-groomed and adheres to uniform standards

  • Flexible & Reliable – Available at least 2 weekends per month (May–November), including evenings & some holidays

  • Strong Communication Skills – Friendly, professional, and a team player

  • Physically Capable – Able to lift 30+ pounds and be on your feet for 8+ hours per shift

  • Customer Service Skills – Experience in event service is a plus, but not required
